Property owners decide if they will accept seciont 8. If section 8 is available on the property, we will guide you through the process.
Who holds the tenant security deposit?
The security deposit will deposited into an escrow account which is required by the law.
Are you licensed?

Can I reach you after hours?
Yes, if it’s a true emergency you’ll be directed to the emergency department.
Can you put the money directly into my account?
Yes, we transfer you the funds on the 15th of each month.
Do I get to see the lease or sign it?
The leases are available online for the applicant and the landlord. You will be able to access the information at any time.
If you wish to receive a hard copy by mail, we will be happy to send it to you.
Do you sell real estate too?
Yes, I’m an agent with Persaud Realty.
How and when do I get my checks?
Every month on the 15th.
How is rent collection handled?
Homelight will set up direct deposit with the tenants and we will transfer your funds into your account.
How long of a lease do you sign?
The term of the lease depends on the landlord and tenant circumstances. Standard lease term is 12 months, which is beneficial for both parties involved.
How much security deposit do you charge the tenant?
Security deposit is equal to one month's rent.
How soon can you start managing my property?
We can begin managing your proeprty as soon as we sign a property management agreement.
What type of properties do you manage?
We manage residential properties only.
What type of reports do I get and how often?
As the landlord, you will have access to monthly balance sheets, rent roll, Monthly maintenance and billing invoices via your online owner portal.
We also have the option of sending reports out directly to your email.
